Luffy as a leader.

Image
The Straw Hat crew is made up of talented, intelligent, and capable individuals with various skills and quirks. Despite glaring differences in personality, they come together as a cohesive unit. The credit for this can be placed with the captain. Even before the introduction of Conquerer’s Haki, Luffy’s charisma is apparent. While his crew may jokingly question why they follow him, they do so instinctively, as he has earned their loyalty. Beyond a strong core, however, Monkey D. Luffy embodies a surprising amount of qualities that make a good leader. The combination of his natural presence, relaxed yet confident attitude, and willingness to consider criticism combine to create a dedicated and powerful crew. Luffy has a somewhat inexplicable charisma to him. From the very beginning of the manga, he is shown to have good judgment regarding others, only choosing crew mates who he considers to be “good.” He never doubts himself, automatically assuming that the people he’s named as f...

Leaders, what?

Frequently asked question about leaders. They are made or born naturally? It is quite difficult for me to answer as I am not a thinker person. Well from my point of view, both of them are true. No matter where he is, an individual who was born like this be given the role of leader.   Rasulullah S.A.W said that: "Each of you is a leader and you will be responsible for people under the leadership of you, a ruler is a guardian and will be accountable to the people; a man is the leader of his family members and will be responsible members of the family; woman is a leader in her husband's house and will be held accountable for his children and his leadership, and servant is entrusted with property master and will be held accountable for what is under the trust. "- [Hadith Bukhari] However, many also think that someone is not born as a leader, but he has learned the skills to be a leader. For example, family members show leadership skills and be encouraged to show lea...

Muhammad S.A.W (PBUH) : True leadership

Image
Islam is the widest spreading Religion today. It was Prophet Muhammad’s unique communication and leadership style that led to the spread of Islam, not only within Arabia but also outside to the north, south, east, west and southwest of Arabia. He was a dynamic, wise and just leader. “There has certainly been for you in the Messenger of Allah an excellent pattern for anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Last Day and [who] remembers Allah often.” [Quran, 33: 21] Early Days of Islam: When he had his first revelation, he was shaken with fear. In this condition true to his humility, he preached initially only to his close family and friends. He was fully conscious that his message would actually turn his culture upturned. In the early days of his sacred mission, to spare his supporters harassment, he approved for them to migrate to Abyssinia for their security protection. That was topmost in his mind, a true leader. This migration was a big step. The king of Abyssinia w...

Dato Onn Jaafar.

Image
Dato Onn was a Malay aristocrat and as a result of his family's close relations with the Johor palace, he was treated like an adopted son by Sultan Ibrahim. Yet, he was also known for being outspoken against what he perceived as inconsiderate palace politics in his home state, Johor. As a journalist, he wrote articles on the welfare of the Malays, and some that were critical of Sultan Ibrahim's policies, including one published in Sunday Mirror. He had criticised the Sultan's poor treatment of the Johor Military Forces (JMF) personnel and the welfare of the Orang Asli, also the Sultan’s marriage to English woman, Helen Bartholomew Wilson, which led to the Sultan expelling him from Johor from 1927 to 1936.  But soon enough, Dato Onn rose to heroic status for his role in opposing the Malayan Union, organising nationwide protests, and along with his companions founded United Malays National Organisation (UMNO), and becoming its first president on May 1, 1946. As a Mal...
