          Tan Sri Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah is a major Malaysian politician who has served in several prominent positions in the Malaysian Government. He was the Minister of Finance from 1976 to 1984, and the Minister of International Trade and Industry from 1984 to 1987. Born as the son of the last appointed Menteri Besar of Kelantan, he had a privileged upbringing and after receiving his primary education in his homeland he moved to Ireland for his higher education.
